Game rules (Michezo regler)

Gladiatus.co.ke Game Rules

The following points will be valid for all
Provinces (Servers) listed at www.Gladiatus.co.ke.

If you are in doubt of any of the points below or have been
banned, please contact your GameOperators, for example with
IRC or e-Mail.

Note that complaints and inquires regarding particular accounts
will only be disclosed to their owners for privacy reasons.

I. Multi-Accounting
  • Each player is allowed to control no more then a single account per World (Server).

  • If two or more accounts are usually, occasionally, or permanently being played from the same network a GameOperator must be notified, without exception.

II. Account Sharing
  • Each account is entitled to be played by a single player at a time, account sitting being the only exception.
Account Sitting is allowed.
Account sitting entitles a given player to have his account watched over under the following regulations:
  • A GameOperator must be informed before the sitting takes place, for example by IRC or opening a ticket.

  • The account may only be sat for 10 days from the 1st login of the account sitter
  • After the account sitting, neither the account nor the account sitter may participate in account sitting for next 10 days.
  • Don't attack the same target or targets (enemy player) using both accounts This means you may NOT attack the same player(s) with both accounts.
  • Participate in any activity that will benefit one account at the detriment of the other. This includes, but is not limited to:
    1) attacking the same enemy player to gain better ranks in the arena
    2) selling overpriced items from one account and buying with another
    3) Use the gold of the account being sitted for any gain to the account that is sitting.
The sitter may not:
  • Change / delete any account characteristics
  • Change / delete user informations (email,..)
  • Change the guild of the account

III. Account exchange
  • Account Exchanges within a single world must be done with the assistance of a GameOperator.

  • No complaints will be processed in cases where the players do not change their e-mail addresses after inter world exchanges or free accounts giveaways. Note that the only complaints considered will be the ones that come from the owner of a given accounts permanent email address.

  • Once a given account changes its owner, 28 days must pass before it changes ownership again. After a new owner takes over a given account he should change the dynamic e-mail address within the first 12 hours after the account switched owners.

IV. Bashing
More than 5 attacks on a single player within any 24 hour period is defined as bashing and thus not allowed.

IV.1 Level Bashing
Players may only attack arena targets within the level allowance as per table below.
However, players may attack any and as many opponents as you like outside this level allowance twice in any 24hr period.
These borders do only count for attacks on lower players. Everyone is allowed to attack someone higher as the other rules allow it.

Quoted

Level 1-20 - 10 levels
Level 21-40 - 14 levels
Level 41-60 - 18 levels
Level 61-80 - 24 levels
Level 81-100 - 28 levels
Level 101-150 - 32 levels
Level 151-200 - 35 levels

IV. II Exceptions
Attacks from the Circus Turma do not count for either one of those bashing typs mentioned above.
Only attacks in the normal arena count.

If two guilds start a war, more than these 5 attacks will be allowed.

There are certain rules for war declarations, which need to be considered.
1. The war needs to be declared 24 hours before the start of the war (until then, the normal bashing rule will be enforced).
2. The war declaration needs to contain the starting time, both parties in the topic of the threads, a reason for the war, and the conditions for victory.
3. Only war declarations from a single player on a guild or from one guild to another are valid.
4. All parties have to be mentioned in correct spelling in the declaration. Furthermore, a list of all members of both parties needs to be included within the declaration.
5. Every war declaration consists of two Threads, one thread for the declaration and all discussions about the war and one only for the fight reports. Every discussion in this thread may cause a warning.
6. If there are no published fight reports within three days, the war will be closed and the bashing rules apply again.
7. If any gladiator joins/leaves the guild, this has to be published in the war declaration, otherwise there will be no exception of the bashing rules.

V. Bugusing
  • Using a bug for anyones profit intentionally or not reporting a bug intentionally is strictly forbidden.

VI. Scripting
  • Using a program as interface between the player and his game is prohibited. Any other form of automatically generated information generated for a group of players advantage with malicious intentions is forbidden as well.
This includes but is not limited to:
  • Bots
  • Macros

Only exceptions to this are programs that are expressly approved by GameForge.

VII. Proxies
  • A player logging in through a cell phone must notify the GameOperator of the province(s) he may be playing in.

Dear community!

The following part of our gamerules was abolished today:

Quoted

In-game actions such as repeated attacks where the attacked player is being attacked 5 times per day for a duration of 5 days or more, and by that is unable to play the game and build up, can be punished as a normal bashing case.
